Camu Camu/ Vitamin C

The camu-camuFruit has an almost unbelievable content of vitamin C: it is  about 2-3 % of the fresh fruit and therewith  40 times as high as in citrons or oranges.

After a gentle drying process, the vitamin C content our powder is about 20 %. One capsule contains 100 mg vitamin C-  the daily dose of an average adult. Natural Vitamin C is perfectly bioavailable!

It is an effective antioxidant, improves iron absorbtion, supports the immune system and is part of the connective tissue building process.

The Camu-camu Fruit also contains iron, phosphor, calcium, flavonoids and  B vitamins (B1-B3). Indigenous people consume it as fruit or juice and appreciate it as an aphrodisiac.
